1. What do you do?

We represent individuals in civil and Intellectual Property matters. Are you planning to brand your business and want to do it the right way? Come to us and we will use our extensive experience to get your trademark registered on the desired Class of products, maybe even when an opponent has filed an opposition to your markโ€™s registration.

Currently we are focused in advising and representing private hire drivers that have worked in partnership with ride hailing platforms like Uber, Bolt, etc., and have had the worker status imposed on them, thus losing more than 80% of their income to the competition and to the pockets of these corporations, under the guise of protecting the drivers.

Firstly, we specialise in mediation. It is the first step we will take for you, and you will be present at all the meetings, unlike with Unions, where you donโ€™t have the option to be present to any negotiation.ย

Mediation is preemptive legal action encouraged by all courts of law in the UK. Here you can have your demands put in front of Uber without having to go to the High Court. Negotiation is the key word, meaning that both parties are aiming for a beneficial outcome for everybody. You should not expect a 100% success rate or that your demands will be met 100%. You need to keep in mind that a corporation so large has an army of lawyers. What theyโ€™re afraid of is thousands of drivers raising individual mediation requests. This could mean a loss of billions of pounds for Uber UK alone if they stonewall and these drivers go to court. If mediation fails and you do need to start court action, we will offer professional support (compiling the documents), you will have the upper hand on Uber, as the court will definitely see Uber as the โ€œbad party,โ€ for refusing to reach an agreement with you outside of court so legal action can be avoided. In court you can even ask for more than the initial request in the mediation papers, and the likelihood of you winning is high, given the level of hurt that Uber et al have caused your business with the worker status.ย

To make it clear, even if the UKโ€™s Supreme Court decided that private hire drivers are workers, after a flawed interpretation of your legal status and of the workers law, nobody could force Uber to implement it. Uber decided to implement the decision of its own volition, realising how much money they could make hiding behind it. And TfL and the unions are complicit.

We will also advise in taking individual legal action against TfL too, for failing to protect you, discrimination, promoting modern slavery, etc.

Individual action is a legal right of each person. Only through it you can claim close to 100% of your legal entitlement.

It is time that Uber et al need to answer for their actions in front of each individual partner driver for destroying their business. Same goes for Transport for London, whoโ€™ve accepted the new rules for drivers despite knowing what that will cause to their livelihoods, and thus promoting modern slavery practices.

Unions have only made it worse for drivers, whilst lining their pockets with the membership fee and other hidden contracts, as is the case of Aslam from ADCU, who got an IT contract worth millions of pounds with the MoD, following the win for workers rights for drivers against Uber. The conspiracy runs even deeper than this according to our investigations, and Unions like ADCU, GMB et al must give answers to each individual partner driver whose business suffered due to the changes.ย

We DO NOT accept the cases of union members. Please refer to your union in order to find a solution to your problems as private hire driver.

We only represent drivers that have no connection with a union. What we are promoting is independent and strategic legal action for fixing the personal situation of the driver, claim compensation for the period starting March 2022, for being a hero of the pandemic and risking their lives, and for keeping Uber et al alive during the same global crisis.

If Uber does not accept the mediation offers, we are planning unprecedented legal action against them, and force them into submission. They have accepted a minority of union members to change everyone elseโ€™s status on the platform, therefore they will have to listen to the requests of each individual driver once more, in a court of law.

Contact us and we will have your back.

Furthermore, we are legal representatives Uber cannot make a hidden deal with behind your back and in your detriment, as it usually happens with established lawyers and law firms.

This is what we are fighting for:

-hefty compensation for each individual driver coming to us;

-Uber paying a minimum of ยฃ3 per mile, including distance to pickup;

-Uber paying at least ยฃ30 per hour of online (online time is work time as Uber is heavily monitoring the driver once they go online);

-a minimum of ยฃ2,000 per week (guaranteed) and no more than 50 hours of online time;

-if they keep on applying the workers law, to pay for running costs (vehicle, maintenance, insurance, licensing, fuel, repairs, charges, etc.);

-paid holiday when the driver is booking time off, not included in the trip (based on the legal number of allowed days of holiday for any other worker);

-medical expenses and compensation for the health issues caused by electric vehicles (being for too long in an electric vehicle has terrifying effects on the central nervous system, fertility, hormonal activity, etc.), which has a huge impact on the health & safety on the platform for both riders and drivers;

-we will get the Supreme Court decision revoked, using each individual case we represent to prove the damage the decision has caused to the driverโ€™s livelihood; as it stands, the Supreme Court is complicit to discrimination and modern slavery;

-a cap on activating new drivers.ย

We believe that by implementing such policies all private hire drivers will thrive, as many would go offline after reaching a certain level of income; this forever-conflict with the cabbies would dissipate.ย

If Uber has enough resources to pay black cab drivers a minimum of ยฃ700 per week for ten trips on the platform and not charge them any commission for the first six months, then they can pay its drivers as layed out above.

Join us and we will fight for you to make sure the best days of your partnership with Uber are ahead of you.
